Daily Prayer
Our buildings may be closed, but let’s remain open as a church. Each evening at 7pm let’s unite in prayer. Set your phone alarm, put it in your google diary, get Alexa to remind you or, just use pen and paper and write it in your diary – as a reminder to stop whatever you are doing for a moment of united prayer in the face of the COVID-19 threat. We will be uniting with our brothers and sisters in Christchurch Lille
Pray for those who are sick, for the scared, for the authorities both local & national, for doctors and nurses, for researchers and for our villages and towns. The list is endless. As Christians, we believe prayer has power, so we seek help from the Lord.
As a church, let’s look beyond our present difficulties and look out for opportunities to share the hope that we have in Jesus.
See the Church of England website for useful resources, including a link to the Daily Prayer and a page on Learning to Pray. It also explains how to download the IOS or Android versions of the free Daily Prayer app.
